Covid Protocol Update 6/28/21
Pownal Veterinary is excited to announce - that time has come! The return of being inside the building with us. Here are a few things we ask of our clients to help us all continue to remain safe in a crazy Covid world.
PLEASE still call from the parking lot, let us know you are here. We will confirm your arrival and then tell you when you can enter the building and which room you will be in with your pet. (If you don't have cell service or forget your phone - please knock on the door and someone will be with you, we are not allowing for people to hang out in the lobby). Masks are required regardless of your vaccine status.
One client per pet will be invited inside the building for schedule appointments to see a doctor. Know there are exceptions like End of Life Care.
If your pet is kept for any inpatient treatments or care we may ask you to wait in your car while treatments are done. Technician appointments will still be conducted via curbside. Product/Medication pick ups will still be handled via curbside.
For anyone who isn't comfortable coming inside or does not want to wear a mask we are happy to conduct those appointments via curbside as well. There are benches in the front of the building for anyone who doesn't prefer to sit in their car - please enjoy our beautiful outdoor space. As always dogs should have a well fitted collar and be on a leash and cats should always be in a carrier.
